Additional Information

In recognition of Black History Month, join Mr. James “Jack” Hadley, the Founder of The Jack Hadley Black History Museum in Thomasville, Georgia for his program: The Hadley Family History at Pebble Hill Plantation.

Mr. Hadley’s ties to Pebble Hill run deep. He was born on Pebble Hill Plantation in 1936, the tenth child of fifteen children born to King Dennis (who worked at Pebble Hill for 53 years) and Rosetta James Hadley. Mr. Hadley’s ancestral roots run even deeper. Join us as he shares this wonderful story.

The program is free and open to the public and will take place at the Pebble Hill Learning Center from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Refreshments provided.

The Jack Hadley Black History Museum currently houses over 5,000 artifacts of African American History. https://jackhadleyblackhistorymuseum.com/
