Research the Pebble Hill Workers’ Cemetery
The Pebble Hill Workers’ Cemetery is the resting place for many of the men and women who lived and worked at Pebble Hill Plantation.
There are 169 marked graves within the walls of the cemetery. Many of those markers are inscribed with the names of the individuals, but others are either not inscribed or the inscription has eroded with age.
The cemetery was mapped in 2013 in an effort to preserve the information that is contained at the site.
In 2022, using the current mapping technology available, the cemetery information was updated.
