Additional Information

Join us for a wonderful afternoon program at Pebble Hill Plantation as author, Catherine Ledyard shares her delightful book, “Pageant’s Miraculous Journey.” The book chronicles the true story of Live Oak Hounds foxhound, Pageant, and his remarkable journey to find his way home. This program is for all ages and will be the perfect way for your family to spend an autumn afternoon.

Members of the Live Oak Hounds and staff will be on site to share the traditions and history of foxhunting. Thomasville Humane will be joining us with adorable dogs in need of loving homes. Members of the Live Oak Hounds Pony Club, an organization for young riding enthusiasts, will be joining us as well.

Fun fox and hound themed activities are planned for children.

Dogs on leashes are most welcome.

We will have refreshments for purchase from Nina’s Creamery and the Grady County 4H Horse Club, but admission to the event is FREE.

Gates open at noon and the Grady County 4H Club will be selling hotdogs, drinks, and snacks as a fundraiser for their club before the event begins and for the duration of the event.
