In honor of the US Navy's 250th birthday, this program, presented by Pebble Hill's Curator, Lori Curtis, will highlight two particular members of the Hanna family who served in the U.S. Navy, Howard Melville Hanna, Sr. (American Civil War) and his grandson, Robert Livingston “Liv” Ireland, Jr. (First World War). In addition, we will recognize several later generations of Hanna and Ireland family members who continued that commitment to service.

Original documents that refer to prominent historical figures and events will be on view.
